Palestinian minors face Israeli military justice
A series of human rights organisations, the EU and many other countries have denounced the conditions of detention of young Palestinians who are arrested and detained by the Israeli military. Some may be guilty of serious attempted attacks on Israeli soldiers, others just of throwing stones. But how should those who follow in the footsteps of 17-year-old Ahed Tamimi - the Palestinian youth currently in prison for slapping and insulting an Israeli soldier - be treated?
