Power grab? Protests in Poland as government forces out judges

Is Poland's democracy at stake? A new law gives the country's president the discretion to retire any justice over 65, which happens to be the age of Malgorzata Gersdorf. In all, 27 of the court's 73 judges are affected. After the common courts and the constitutional council, it's the latest piece of the judiciary to effectively fall under the orders of the justice minister. Is it a power grab? What options do the opposition and civil society have?
