In May last year, a former Rothschild banker and one-time economy minister became France's youngest leader since Napoleon. While he's admired by many of his counterparts abroad as France's golden boy leader, on home soil his popularity is slipping. Sophie Pedder, the Paris correspondent for The Economist, has tracked Macron's rise to power and assessed his first year in office in her new book "Revolution Française: Emmanuel Macron and the Quest to Reinvent a Nation".
