In California, companies are recruiting more and more people with autism, particularly those with Asperger syndrome. Their specific skills are increasingly sought after in sectors such as computer science and the animated film industry. Autism is estimated to affect more than two million people in the US and tens of millions globally. While more people are being diagnosed with the disorder, only a small percentage are employed.
