Mandela commemorations: Barack Obama honours Madiba's legacy

Thousands of people gathered in Johannesburg to celebrate the century since Nelson Mandela's birth. Crowds hung on the words of Barack Obama as he spoke of the late South African president's values of sacrifice and social justice. Meanwhile, nearly 300 civilians have been killed in fighting between rival militias this year in Mali. Rupert Colville, spokesperson for the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, tells us more about the recent killings in the Mopti region.
