Young women in China go under the knife to improve job prospects

This summer, thousands of young female graduates in China will undergo cosmetic surgery to reshape their nose or enlarge their eyes. Competition in the labour market is so fierce that these young women are willing to change their appearance in order to improve their chances of being hired. Some save up for months to be able to afford an operation. Our correspondents report on China's unrelenting demand for beauty.
