American sprinter Ronnie Baker clocked the fastest 100m of the season on Wednesday with a 9.87sec winning run at the Chorzow meeting in Poland.

Baker was already the joint-fastest man this year along with compatriot Noah Lyles on 9.88sec.

The 24-year-old Baker, who triumphed in Rome, Paris and London, will have the chance to secure the Diamond League title in Brussels on August 31.
