Kenya: Can universal basic income revolutionise development?
Many people have argued for a guaranteed living stipend to keep the most vulnerable from falling into misery, including in France. In Kenya, one NGO has launched an experimental universal basic income programme in an underprivileged village. Each month, it gives cash to all the adults who live there. So is it working?
