Former German diplomat Joachim Bitterlich: 'We cannot accept any extremism'
A former German diplomat and advisor to Helmut Kohl, Joachim Bitterlich is now an advisor to the Austrian presidency of the EU and professor at the ESCP business school in Paris. He gives us his take on the situation in Germany, where a weakened Angela Merkel has been taking political knocks, this amid anger at violence allegedly caused by migrants in the east of the country. He also reacts to the European Parliament's recent decision to punish Hungary for undermining EU values.
