In an unprecedented step, EU lawmakers recently voted to take action against Hungary's government for undermining fundamental EU values. Brussels accuses Budapest of breaking the rule of law, misusing EU funds, attacking media independence, breaching academic freedom and exercising nepotism in the judiciary. Prime Minister Viktor Orban has hit back hard at the Parliament, while eurosceptic groups have made overtures to him. We ask our guests what the vote means for Hungary and the EU.
