Macron malaise: Can the French president reverse his plummeting popularity?

You'd think it would be easy to appoint an interior minister. After a two-week vacancy and several snubs, Emmanuel Macron has settled on loyal insider Christophe Castaner. The French president has been without a top cop since the stormy resignation of veteran politician Gerard Collomb. Is Macron a difficult man to work with? Can he shed the "arrogant" label that's been pinned on him and return to the image of the inclusive moderate who convinced voters on the campaign trail last year?
