'Personal computing would not have existed without him': Paul Allen dies aged 65

Paul Allen, who co-founded Microsoft with Bill Gates, has died at the age of 65. Allen left the software giant in 1983, and had since gone on to invest in the arts, sport and even space travel. Also today, Italy's government approves its controversial budget in time to meet a European Union deadline.
