Where do you draw the line? Brexit deadline summit stumbles over Irish border

The Irish border is the biggest hurdle at a deadline summit on concluding the terms of divorce between Britain and the rest of the European Union. As a safeguard in case there's no agreement in time on keeping the UK in the customs union, the EU insists the deal must keep the border open between the two Irelands. But the DUP, who prop up Theresa May’s minority government, want no part of a border in the Irish Sea, even one that's limited in time.
