US midterms: Democrats hope for blue wave
This week, we take a look at the final campaign push ahead of the US midterm elections. The Democrats' hope of retaking control of the House of Representatives is pinned on flipping key battleground districts. Our correspondents Pierrick Leurent and Hayde Fitzpatrick travelled to Orange County, California - one of those infamous red pockets.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump paid a visit to the scene of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting, but he was met with protests. Critics of Trump claim his divisive, inflammatory rhetoric is partly to blame for the rise in white nationalist violence.
And in Brazil, far-right President-elect Jair Bolsonaro is planning to merge the ministries of agriculture and environment. The move is setting off alarm bells for activists, who say it will put the Amazon rainforest at risk.
