Florida governor's race reflects vast gulf in US politics

US voters headed to the polls on November 6 for the midterm elections. This year, the polls took place against the backdrop of a polarisation in views, with a stark move away from the political centre. The Florida governor's race -- one of the closest -- was a prime example. It pitted Ron DeSantis, a Republican candidate who openly supports Donald Trump, against Andrew Gillum, a progressive Democrat. FRANCE 24’s correspondents report from Florida.
