Out-of-control Chinese bosses criticised on social media

In China, shocking images show employees humiliated and whipped at work, punished for failing to complete their tasks. The allegations are based on widely shared images posted on social media, sparking a debate over workers’ rights and employers’ abuse of power. But still, many managers defend these practices. Clément Bonnerot reports.
