Too many migrant children are excluded from education

In the last two years, refugee children have missed a massive 1.5 billion days of school. This is the shocking statistic in a new report which says that children across the world are being excluded from education, and countries need assistance to ensure migrant children are helped and encouraged in the countries where they end up.


Since the year 2000, the number of migrant and refugee school-age children has increased by a massive 26 percent, and countries would do much better all-round if they harnessed their potential and helped them to flourish. Kate Redman from Global Education Monitoring Report of UNESCO spoke to us.
