'We are dying because we stress differences'

Our world is made up of different cultures; different languages, traditions and norms. Or is it? A new book, "In search of Africa(s)", looks at the idea of universalism, at how much we are the same and how much we should highlight that - or, instead, concentrate on our differences. Anthropologist Jean-Loup Amselle prefers to focus on what all humans have in common, while his co-author sees the richness in diversity. Amselle joined us for Perspective to tell us more.
