Meeting the men and women behind France's national child helpline
Date created :
This Monday marks the 70th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. But it wasn't until more than 40 years later that a separate convention aiming to protect children was signed. In France, a dedicated helpline for children, number 119, has been in place for the past three decades. Our reporters went to meet the professionals who help distressed children on a daily basis.
A programme prepared by Wassim Cornet and James Vasina.
