Israeli and Palestinian NGOs receive controversial human rights award
Issued on: Modified:
Our guests are two important players in human rights. Hagai El-Ad is the executive director of B'Tselem, a well-known Israeli NGO, and Shawan Jabarin is the general director of Al-Haq, the oldest human rights group in the West Bank. Both of them were awarded the French Republic's 2018 Human Rights Award, a decision opposed by the Israeli government. They spoke to FRANCE 24's Marc Perelman about Israeli policy, as well as the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
Produced by Narimène Laouadi and Morgane Minair.
