Asbestos victims seek justice
Asbestos was once a popular product used in the construction of millions of buildings around the world. In the 1960s, scientists discovered that it could cause cancer. But, here in France at least, it was not banned until 1997. In all, it has cost an estimated 3,000 human lives per year according to the associations that are still trying to seek justice for the many victims of asbestos.
