Breaking the menstruation taboo in the West Bank

22-year-old Yasmeen Mjalli is a Palestinian-American woman who's been heralded as a driving force of the Middle East's #MeToo movement. Back in 2016, in response to street harassment in Ramallah, she launched a fashion label selling clothes emblazoned with the message "not your habibti" or "not your darling". Now she's turning her attention to the still-taboo topic of periods, taking a menstruation education workshop across public schools in the West Bank.
