Canada has a reputation as a tolerant, welcoming nation. But hate crimes are on the rise, with Muslims, Jews and people of African origin the main targets. This worrying trend is especially visible in Ontario and Quebec, two provinces where most legal newcomers to the country decide to settle. Our correspondents report.
