The difficulty of diagnosing shaken baby syndrome

In France, around 200 babies each year are diagnosed with abusive head trauma, also known as shaken baby syndrome - repeated and violent shaking by an adult, often due to anger, which can cause death. France's High Authority for Health has put out recommendations to doctors to better diagnose cases and report them to authorities. But these criteria are causing concern, and some parents are now denouncing what they call unfair accusations. Our team reports.
