Teaching a love of books: 'I wanted to continue the work of the civil rights movement'

Our guest is Michelle Kuo, who instead of graduating from Harvard and turning straight to a career in law, travelled to the Mississippi Delta to try to make a difference there first. Her aim was to encourage students to pick up books and read. The mission took her to a whole new place, with some incredible stories and people along the way. All of this has made it into her own book, "Reading with Patrick". She joined us for Perspective.
