Life after sexual slavery: One woman's fight to end human trafficking in Nepal

Across the world, thousands of victims of human trafficking are forced into sexual servitude and unpaid labour every year. Our guest is Sunita Danuwar, a Nepalese woman who escaped a life of prostitution in India to become a champion for fellow victims of trafficking. She’s the Executive Director of Shakti Samuha, an NGO founded in the mid-1990s that provides shelter and support to women trying to rebuild their lives after being sold into modern-day slavery.
