US-Afghan operations kill record number of civilians in Afghanistan

In the first quarter of 2019, and for the first time ever, US and Afghan forces killed more civilians than the Taliban or the Islamic State group did, according to UN figures. These deaths mostly occurred during air strikes. For victims' relatives, investigations into the bombings are slow, if they happen at all. FRANCE 24's Margaux Benn and Sonia Ghezali report from Nangarhar province in eastern Afghanistan.
