Japanese women fight for right to ditch heels
While the #MeToo movement did not catch on in Japan, a recent one has found stronger footing. Women are saying no to high heels. Earlier this month, the country's labour minister was criticised when he said at a parliamentary debate that wearing high heels to work was "necessary and reasonable".
