City Prince/sses: Artistic visions of global megacities come to Paris
We check out a new exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo which transports visitors to the teeming urban centres of Bangladesh, Mexico, Iran, Nigeria and the Philippines. "City Prince/sses" invites artists from diverse backgrounds to re-imagine those cities within the Parisian gallery with startling and compelling results.
Also, the paintings of the grande dame of Impressionism, Berthe Morisot, go on show at the Musée d’Orsay here in Paris, while the National Portrait Gallery in London zooms in on the career of Cindy Sherman, with a retrospective of her chameleon-like self-portraits.
And we take a look at an initiative to do away with outdated notions of age-appropriate fashion.
