Brussels signs off on two major trade deals

Brussels has signed off on a free trade agreement with Vietnam, which removes virtually all customs duties on trade with the country. However, the deal is not without its critics, as some don't think the EU should trade with Vietnam because of its poor human rights record. Meanwhile, a new EU free trade treaty with Mercosur will unite a market of almost 800 million people - although some farmers in the EU don't like the deal because they think it risks lowering standards.
