US adds tariff pressure over Airbus subsidies

The United States has published a list of 89 EU products, including cheese and whiskey, on which it could impose tariffs because of a long-running dispute over subsidies to aircraft makers. The World Trade Organization has already ruled that the EU broke its rules with subsidies to Airbus, and will announce in the coming months what countermeasures the US can take. Also today, almost half of the new cars sold in Norway so far this year have been electric models.
