Celebrating 130 years of the Eiffel Tower

Built in 1889 for the World Fair, the Eiffel Tower was only ever meant to be a temporary structure, but it was such a hit that it's remained the tallest point on the Paris skyline ever since. To mark the tower's 130th birthday, the site will host a free and interactive exhibition that promises to reveal a different side to a structure that's come to symbolise France on the world stage. We speak to Patrick Branco Ruivo, director of the company that runs the Eiffel Tower.
