The descendants of victims of the first genocide of the 20th century are back in a New York court in a bid to sue Germany. Herero and Nama plaintiffs from Namibia are seeking reparations from the former coloniser, more than a century after the massacre. Also, Nigeria's ban on importing food from other countries in the region is causing headaches for traders on both sides of its borders. And Ivorian designer Lafalaise Dion is the queen of the cowries. Her pieces are in global demand after Beyoncé wore one of her headpieces in a music video from "The Lion King".
