Many futurologists say 2020 will be a year of tech breakthroughs, making predictions about which technologies are set to become our new normal. But how many of these futuristic guesses are actually true? We take a closer look.

As the CES opens in Las Vegas, we take a look at which predictions did not happen in 2019 and which ones are set to become true in 2020.

We also speak to Scott Smith, the founder and CEO of Changeist, about how futurologists are trying to help people envision and prepare for the future.
