- In Turkey, a court has paved the way for turning Istanbul's Hagia Sophia back into a Muslim place of worship again, after it being a Byzantine basilica, an Ottoman-era mosque and, for the past 86 years, a museum. Shona Bhattacharyya, Ludovic de Foucaud and Hussein Assad report.
- In Germany, special summer programmes are being set up to help students stay on track at school after sometimes falling behind during lockdown. Nick Spicer, Anne Mailliet and Willy Mahler report.
- In Central African Republic, special police brigades are being deployed on the streets of the capital Bangui to enforce social distancing and the wearing of face masks. Tony Menga, Thierry Nzam and Luc Armel Ngouo report.
- And in Colombia, the traditional music bands known as mariachi are struggling. Without unemployment benefits or social security, they're having to figure out ways to survive by themselves. Andrea Amaya Porras has the story.
