Date created :
To coincide with Google TV launch in France today, FRANCE 24, RFI and Monte Carlo Doualiya (MCD) launch a new service entirely dedicated to and designed for this new platform.
In adherence to the group’s multi-support & innovative strategy, the three media are the only ones to offer a complete trilingual offer (English, French and Arabic) at this occasion.
Building on its application for connected TVs, the new FRANCE 24 interface for Google TV allows all users to get the three FRANCE 24 versions live, all the channel programs on demand in three languages, as well as the latest articles published on FRANCE24.com in real time.
In its Arabic version, the service includes live broadcast of Monte Carlo Douliya radio and references all the articles from the website of both media.
For RFI, this new service allows you to access the live signals of both the World and African broadcasts in French, as well as all the complete catalogue of the station programs on demand (news bulletins, magazines, debates, etc.). In addition, users of this new service can also get all the articles published on the station website, RFI.fr , in real time.
For Frederic Bonnard, Head of New Media Department for FRANCE 24, RFI and MCD :“The AEF media have always been forerunners in new media and we are pleased and proud that our offer will be available on Google TV the day of its launch in France ! This is an important step to increase our influence in the world and reach new audiences."
