'Yesterday is today's memory': African art comes to Paris
Issued on:
"It’s about history, about tradition, about heritage". That's how a new exhibition of African art is summed up by its curator as it opens its doors in Paris. Armelle Dakouo and the around 20 African artists involved are delighted to be able to bring their work to the wider world, especially as some artists struggle to have their work recognised. "Yesterday is today's memory" is on at the Espace Commines exhibition space until November 11. Dakouo joined us for Perspective.
