How to Save Afghanistan? Ghani under pressure at home and abroad (part 2)

15 years of US-led intervention, nearly 40 years of conflict, and yet Afghanistan seems no closer to peace. A donor conference to raise funds for the country has been overshadowed by a fresh offensive on the northern city of Kunduz. The Taliban have been chased from the town centre but the fight's ongoing and US air power's been enrolled to help flush out the insurgency. We ask about the timing of this attack, days after the signing of a peace deal with long-time warlord Gulbuddin Hekmatyar.
