Two years on, France remembers the 130 killed, along with the survivors of the shootings at the Bataclan concert hall, the national stadium and at the terraces of Right Bank cafés. The new normal includes beefed-up anti-terror laws and the rout of jihadists on the battlefield in Iraq and Syria. The IS group may be on the run, but are we any better at counter-radicalization? In a year that's seen attacks most notably in Manchester, London and Barcelona, are we any the wiser as to what to do?
