Thierry Frémaux, the man behind Cannes’ official movie selection

For the past 10 years, Thierry Frémaux has been the Cannes Film Festival’s managing director and has had the difficult job of having to choose the films presented for the official competition. He tells Catherine Nicholson about this year’s official selection as well as Cannes’ special relationship with Nicole Kidman. The Australian actress starred in “Grace of Monaco”, Olivier Dahan’s controversial film about Grace Kelly’s troubled life on the Riviera, and this year’s opening feature.
