Behind the lens: Paris photography exhibitions in focus
From World Press Photo to Foto Fever, the French capital is shining a light on photography with this season’s cultural calendar brimming with a host of events and art fairs. The main rendezvous is Paris Photo at the Grand Palais; more than 190 galleries and exhibitors from some 30 countries are taking part, offering visitors a chance to admire the work of both modern masters and emerging talents.
Among the image-makers showcasing their work at Paris Photo is Canadian photographer Kourtney Roy. She talks to FRANCE 24’s Richelle Harrison Plesse about her influences and artistic universe, and working with Pernod Ricard for their annual Carte Blanche campaign.
