Pesticide problem: Spanish citrus farmers worried by upcoming ban on chlorpyrifos

The European Health Agency has asked for a synthetic pesticide called chlorpyrifos to be totally withdrawn from all EU member states by January 2020, believing it has a negative impact on human health. Spain is the country where chlorpyrifos is most used, and the many Spanish citrus fruit producers who use the pesticide say they are being unfairly penalised. Our correspondents report.
