Cameroon's Paul Biya wins seventh term in poll marred by low turnout

Cameroon's President Paul Biya is set for another seven-year term as his election victory is confirmed by the constitutional court. His rivals still question the transparency of the October 7 poll. Also, Ethiopia signs a peace deal with ethnic Somali separatists. The deal with the ONLF is the latest reconciliation project of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed. And in DR Congo, communities around Beni in north Kivu tackle the aftermath of more violence from suspected militia.
