CAF footballer of the year: Egyptian international Mohamed Salah retains title

Egyptian international and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah joins a star-studded list of African greats who have won African player of the year twice. Salah received the award at a ceremony in Senegal. He scored 44 goals for Liverpool during the 2017-18 season and clinched the Premier League’s golden boot. Meanwhile, Egypt scored another football victory after being named as hosts of this year's Africa Cup of Nations.
