Momentum is growing in South Africa behind calls for nationwide protests against the level of violence against women. The country has one of the highest femicide rates in the world. Meanwhile, riots in South Africa ramp up diplomatic tensions with Nigeria. At least five people have been killed in the xenophobic attacks. And in Zimbabwe, doctors go on strike, demanding a 400 percent pay hike.
