Approaching terminus? On board Iraq's last train line

Basra, Baghdad, Mosul, Aleppo, Istanbul... This is the train line which once connected Iraq to Europe. Nowadays though, most of the Iraqi and Syrian cities served by this route are under control of the Islamic State group and trains no longer operate. But a FRANCE 24 team has been on board Iraq’s very last segment in operation: the Baghdad-Basra Line, connecting the Iraqi capital and the southern oil-rich city.
