Japan leading the way in iPS cell research

Imagine that any cell of the human body can be used to create stem cells: stem cells which are then able to generate cells from any other part of the human organism. Japan is leading the way in the latest research on biotechnology, with these cells of a new kind tested there on human beings for the first time. Marie Linton and Justin McCurry report.
