Three French towns ban the 'burkini'

Cannes was first out to place a temporary ban on the “burkini” at the beach and now two other towns have followed suit. Is it to protect Muslim communities at a time of increased tensions in the aftermath of Islamist terror attacks? Or is it a backward step seeing as there is nothing illegal about modest forms of beach attire. We take a look at the debate.
