Sympathy for refugees on the wane, one year after Aylan Kurdi's death

The top story in France today is the announcement that the so-called "Jungle" migrant camp in Calais is to be closed. We take a look at how attitudes to the migrant/refugee crisis have changed over the past year, in particular since today marks the first anniversary of Aylan Kurdi's death. The Syrian boy was washed up on a Turkish beach, having drowned in a bid to reach Europe with his family. Elsewhere, a campaign to promote more births in Italy is mocked on social media.
