US President Donald Trump travelled to McAllen, Texas on Thursday to continue to push for funding for a border wall. During his visit, he blamed Democrats for the government shutdown - which is entering its 21st day, for illegal immigration and for not supporting federal law enforcement. He even threatened to declare a national state of emergency if he doesn't get the $5.7 billion in funding he's requested from congress. But Democrats say Trump is exaggerating the security crisis to get his wall funded. FRANCE 24 correspondents Alyssa Caverley and Pierrick Leurent travelled to McAllen to meet residents of this border city.
